CHAKRA EMBODIMENT

Energetic alignment through movement and self-expression

The chakra system is a powerful map for our healing and expansion of our consciousness so we can embody our full vibrancy and magnetism!
This workshop is an invitation to explore this map through your own body in movement, and unlock the boundless source of energy, joy, and knowing that is within you.

Through embodied movement, expressive (and uncomplicated) art-making, and mindful witnessing, you will deepen your connection with each of the 7 main energy centers in your body, and gain clarity about whatever blockages may be contributing to feelings of stuckness, dullness, stagnancy, and disconnection from the fullness of your power.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

And when we bring what lies within us out into the world, miracles happen."

Spend time in your self

THURSDAY, 8/31

at IntoMeSea, Santa Monica

6:30 to 8:30 PM PDT

Join Ana Liz to explore a unique way to be in your body and in relationship with the life themes that contemplate each of the 7 chakras. Awaken to your self-expression, pleasure, empowerment, and voice!

Plus, it's fun!

This process will empower you to express yourself more authentically and confidently, and to build a more loving + celebratory relationship with your physical body, mind, heart, and spirit.

All levels of experience with the arts are welcome.

You don't have to "know how to do it" - the process will carry you through!

Ana Liz's approach is rooted in Somatic Therapies and the Tamalpa Life/Art Process®, a movement-based expressive arts therapy modality founded by pioneers in the field, Anna and Daria Halprin. We lean on the body as the doorway into our Self through movement, and seamlessly weave together drawing and writing to bring the abstract feelings and contents of our subconscious into tangible, symbolic, verbal, and documented representations of ourselves, our challenges, and resources. The exploration of movement becomes a laboratory, enabling dialogue with our light and shadow aspects, while also refining and harmonizing our physical instrument: the body.
